Pasteurization, is a process normally referring to dairy products and their sterilization, but in this piece I explore the idea of pasteurizing people. The idea of making something “safe for consumption” resonates with the issues and themes found in all of my work. People sterilize themselves, their images, everyday in real life and especially online.
